Rain God is very unkind towards Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, and the result is floods in these regions. I personally experienced natural calamity (floods) because I was staying in Nandyal in Andhra Pradesh when it was at the peak. It was a heart-churning situation during that period. Let all the members take part in rehabilitation services for the marooned human lives. It has been a Herculean task to bring out the fourth issue of our esteemed journal but it is before you. Our specialty is growing by leaps and bounds. The rate of change is greater than ever before. We all recognize that there is still more to learn and there are many miles to travel. We are able to apply the results of research to clinical practice. Advances in imaging technology are increasing at a rate where the limiting factor will be our ability to pay for newer modalities.
I must congratulate the editorial team for its efforts, and it is pleasure to see improvement in the quality of the journal. I assure you that coming year onwards, all the journals will be regularly published. Some of the authors who have submitted articles to us may be disappointed for not having their articles published; the reason for this was backlog of articles (more than 300). The articles already published and those pending for publication are really commendable. We appreciate the efforts of the authors of these articles and encourage them to continue this good work.
I wish all success to the ISPPD Conference.
