The child's life is a hiding place of man's power, where man must seek it with all the mature faculties. Our tradition asserts that "Home is the best School" and parents are the first and best teachers.
This thought has been a continuous source of inspiration for our society to protect the creation and spirited life of a child.
Today, situation is absolutely averse. Growing restlessness and stress in small a kid is something very strange but a harsh truth which was not existent in past time. When our parents tell us how their life was joyful and enjoyful during their childhood, but now it seems to be a fairy tale, as it is not possible in these days.
It is said that danger of past was that man might become a slave, but danger of future is that man may become robot and that's what is happening now.
We are living in the age where there is no scope in our lifestyle, which can nurture and evolve self born genius in every child. Parents think it is normal to admit child in school very early when within a few months, small becomes an obedient bull and carry the load of heavy school bag upon their back. We approve this pattern very well on the name of education without being bothered that it has been killing the innocent spirit and dormant potential before they get manifest.
"A child is the father of man" - emerges mature imagination, fairly follows out traces of the child fancies, innocence and wonder vision. It is true that to resolve it means to swim against the tide but if we want to save our children from becoming robots and if we want this phrase "Child is the father of man" to remain true, is the test of time, we must have to penetrate and introspect.
In today's age of commercialization, the Dental Surgeon has no time to devote time in behaviour management and they push children to operatory to treat under general anesthesia without understanding the mind of the child. In long run, this may be disastrous.
Just as a father deserves our respect, in the same way, child also deserves our respect, rather than the contempt.[Figure 1]
