Hereditary opalescent dentin--a case report.

A female patient aged 6 years reported with brown coloured small sized teeth that were continuously wearing out. The teeth were badly attrited upto the gingival margins. The occlusal surfaces were flattened. The clinical and radiographical examination confirmed the case as Hereditary opalescent Dentin. The rationale for early diagnosis and treatment has been discussed.
